Call for Applications for the USPATH 2024-2025 Election Nominating Committee

Dear USPATH Members,

We are excited to announce that the USPATH Board of Directors is seeking applications for three (3) USPATH Member positions available on the USPATH Election Nominating Committee.

The Nominating Committee has two main tasks:

1. Review and ensure that the candidates who apply for positions on the USPATH Board of Directors meet the criteria for these positions prior to being placed on the USPATH Election ballot(s).
2. Review and update the election process, application, and criteria as necessary in consultation with the USPATH Board of Directors.

The USPATH Nominating Committee will consist of the current USPATH Board of Directors and the 3 selected members of the USPATH Election Nominating Committee.

Applicants for the Nominating Committee must be USPATH Full Members in good standing for at least 3 consecutive years (paid dues in 2022, 2023, and 2024), cannot be under disciplinary action by a university, hospital, or professional society, and may not run for any position in USPATH Elections through 2025.

Applicants must be able to commit to this role through the completion of the USPATH Fall 2025 elections (September 2025).

Please note that elected members of this committee will need to attend the USPATH Board Meeting on December 12, 2024: 1:30pm – 3:00pm Eastern Time, to discuss their recommendations for the USPATH 2024 Fall Board Candidates.

The deadline for all applications is Monday, November 11, 2024 at 5:00pm Eastern Time. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Call for Applications for USPATH Board Member-at-Large Positions

Dear US Members of WPATH (USPATH Members):

The time has come to announce our Call for Applications for 2 Board Member-at-Large positions (3-year term) on the USPATH Board of Directors:

USPATH Board Member-at-Large Criteria

Candidates for the Board Member-at-Large positions must be current Full Members of USPATH for 3 consecutive years (paid member dues in 2022, 2023, and for 2024) and reside in the United States.

The deadline for all applications is Monday, November 11, 2024 at 5:00pm Eastern Time. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

After the deadline, applications will be reviewed by the USPATH Election Nominating Committee and then approved by the USPATH Board of Directors.  All applicants that meet the criteria stated will be placed on the ballot. 

Voting for the Board Member-at-Large positions will occur with an online ballot to all current USPATH members (Full, Emeritus).

Once ballots are sent, eligible members will have three weeks to review the candidates and vote.

The newly elected members will be notified and announced to the membership shortly after the ballots close.

The newly elected USPATH Board Members-at-Large will take their seat at the USPATH Board Meeting on Thursday, January 9, 2024: 1:30pm – 3:00pm Eastern Time.
