Dear USPATH Registered Attendees:

We are offering a special session for providers of medical and mental health services for trans and non-binary youth to discuss the challenging political environment we are facing in the US today. It is imperative that you pre-register for this session with some indicator of your professional work in this area of care. Such indicators may include a business card, a URL pointing to your website, a work ID badge, etc. Participants need to bring a photo ID to the session on Friday night, in order to attend, as we will crosscheck with the pre-registrant list. This session will be a closed event for only those who have preregistered, there will be absolutely NO ONSITE REGISTRATION. This session will not be recorded or livestreamed.

SESSION DETAILS

When: Friday, November 3, 2023

Time: 4:15pm (local CO time) at the Westin 

The goals of the session include:

• Provision of a space for colleague support
• Dissemination of information regarding current legislation
• Provision of strategies to reassure patients
• Provision of strategies for taking care of your own mental health

The first hour will be a round table discussion with prepared questions that will include select providers from states of interest, lawyers and leaders in care pathways. The second hour will be open to audience questions. Questions need to be submitted on index cards during the session. There will be no live questions. There is an option for a third hour if participants are interested in networking or further discussion of topics.

*The Final Night Event is open to and included for attendees who are registered for the USPATH 2023 Main Conference only. Registered attendees may purchase up to 1 Guest ticket. These will be available for $75USD and can only be purchased at onsite registration. All attendees at the final night event, will need their meeting badge to attend the event. Guests will receive their badge as they check in for the event.
