Dear WPATH Members and Supporters 

On behalf of WPATH, and it’s Executive Committee, we wanted to offer our deepest condolences to the family of Dr. Michael Marshall, who died unexpectedly on Friday, September 23, 2022. Michael leaves behind his partner, Glynnis, their children; Kwame, Michael Jr., Quendel, Koffi, Aman, and Ikem; his mother Prisca, and many siblings.

Michael most recently completed his term on the WPATH Board of Directors, he was a contributor to the Global Education Institute, and was a vocal member of the TGD community, with a sharp focus on Intersectionality, Diversity, and Inclusion.

Michael will be missed by so many, he was a friend, we are thankful for all he had accomplished in his short life, and we will miss all the things we know he still wanted to do and would have completed.
