We hope this email finds you safe and healthy during these challenging times.

As a WPATH Voting Member (Full, Emeritus), we are pleased to let you know that the 2020 Slate of Officers and Board Member-at-Large ballot is ready for you to review and vote on.

Deadline for voting is Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 11:59pm ET.

You will be receiving your ballot directly from Survey Monkey. The message and link to vote will be sent to the email address associated with your WPATH account, where you are receiving this notice, and each voting member will receive a ballot and is asked to vote by the deadline.

If you do not receive the email from Survey Monkey within 48 hours of receiving this message, and after also checking your junk/spam folder, please contact Jamie Hicks at jamie@PROTECTED, she will be able to assist you. Please be sure and reach out in plenty of time, so that we can be sure and get you the link to vote well before the deadline.

Please take time to review the statements for the member-at-large positions and officer slate before making your decision.

All members on the officer slate have been vetted and approved by us, the 2020 Election Nominating Committee, based on the applications received, and was approved as presented by the WPATH Board of Directors. All members that applied to be a Member-at-Large, and met the criteria for the position, which can be found here, are presented to you as candidates for the WPATH Board positions.

Open Board Member-at-Large Positions

There are three (3) open Member-at-Large positions with a 4-year term, and two (2) additional open Member-at-Large positions with a 2-year term, if the slate of officers is approved, for a total of five (5) new positions to be filled.

The terms of elected members will be determined by the greatest number of votes received per candidate, filling the 4-year term positions first.  

Elected members will be informed of their term once the election results are tallied.

As a reminder, this hybrid model for WPATH elections was voted on and selected by the membership in 2019, after an exhaustive process led by the WPATH Elections Task Force and received 61.74% of the vote compared to the other model. Members were notified of the result of this vote and the election model selection on October 21, 2019.

Newly elected 2020 Board Officers and Members-at-Large will be installed at a meeting of the full board near or in conjunction with the 26^th Scientific Symposium being held virtually from November 6 – 10, 2020.
