The European Professional Association for Transgender Health (EPATH) wants to announce a vacancy for 2 Directors-at-Large to strengthen the EPATH Board.

The aims of EPATH are to promote mental, physical and social health of transgender people in Europe; to increase the quality of life among transgender people in Europe; and to ensure transgender people’s rights for healthy development and well-being.

Our goals are to foster the European knowledge and skills in transgender care; to facilitate and extend the bonds between European countries in transgender care; and to spread the results of research and experiences by publishing reports and organising scientific conferences and meetings and to collaborate with international organisations with the same or related aims.

EPATH wishes to achieve its goals through organising a three-day bi-annual European conference. As you probably know our next conference will be held in Rome, April 11-13. For more information concerning our organization see: www.epath.eu

We are looking for an enthusiastic professional, who is closely and positively involved in transgender healthcare, and who has an open, tolerant and research-minded attitude towards our field, and who would like to join our current Board. The Board consists of:

• Walter Pierre Bouman: Director of Communication
• Annelou De Vries: Director of the Interest of Children and Adolescents
• Joz Motmans: Secretary – Treasurer & Director of the Policy Division
• Timo Nieder: Director of Education and Clinical Training
• Griet De Cuypere: WPATH Liaison Member

Perhaps it is time now to renew your WPATH membership (if you have not done so for 2019) or to become a member!

After nomination of the candidates by the board, elections will take place in March 2019 via electronic voting. The results will be communicated during the EPATH congress in Rome.
