Dear WPATH Members & Supporters:
Giving Tuesday (November 27, 2018) is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the US), Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
In the spirit of Giving Tuesday, we ask for your continued support that will allow WPATH to expand education and fuel innovation through our Global Education Initiative and revision of the Standards of Care, now in its 7th edition. The 8th edition, which is already underway, of the Standards of Care will continue to be the preeminent clinical guidance document used globally. Consider sharing this request with your family, friends and colleagues by forwarding the message and asking them to make a difference.
Thanks to you, we are improving healthcare outcomes for transgender people worldwide.
Please consider a gift to support WPATH’s life-changing work today.
Your partnership makes WPATH a stronger and more effective global ally for transgender people.
Since 1980, the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) has been at the forefront of transgender health, promoting evidence-based care, education, research, advocacy and public policy.
With more than 2,000 members in the mental health, medical, surgical, legal and social services fields, WPATH is the only international professional association devoted solely to improving the health and treatment of transgender and gender diverse-individuals across the globe. We envision a world wherein people of all gender identities and gender expressions have access to evidence-based healthcare, social services, justice and equality.
WPATH is a tax-exempt charitable organization as described in section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
