Hi folks!

 

We are reaching out to invite you to participate in the Provider Insights on Transgender Healthcare Survey that we are conducting in partnership with researchers at Whitman-Walker Institute.

 

This survey of healthcare providers that serve transgender patients will gather evidence about the impact of state policies related to gender-affirming care. The primary aim of this study is to examine the challenges that healthcare providers face, assess the impacts of bans and shield laws, and to develop recommendations to improve the ability of providers to deliver care to transgender patients. Members of USPATH will also be given the opportunity to provide additional input for USPATH and indicate if you have interest in becoming more involved with USPATH.

 

It takes about 20-25 minutes to complete the survey. Participation in the survey is entirely voluntary, and you can stop at any time. The survey is anonymous, and responses cannot be traced back to participants. More information about the survey’s data privacy protections is available here. This survey is IRB approved (Protocol # 00083011).

 

At the end of the survey, you will have the option to enter your email address into a random drawing to receive a $250 gift card. Any identifying information collected for the random drawing will be held confidential and stored separately from your survey responses. Up to 10 participants will receive the gift card, and chances of being selected for a gift card are 1/30.

 

Please take this opportunity to share your experiences and support our research to better understand the experiences of providers and your work to ensure equitable access for transgender patient populations across the country. We ask that you not share information about this survey on public social media as we are trying to avoid bots. We strongly encourage you to share it internally (e.g., with colleagues via email).
