Dear USPATH Members,
We are excited to initiate a Scientific Symposium Steering Committee for the USPATH 2025 Scientific Symposium, being presented live at The Hyatt Regency Tamaya in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico, September 26-30, 2025.
If you are interested in applying for the USPATH 2025 Scientific Steering Committee as the Scientific Chair or a Scientific Committee Member, and participating in guiding the science, education, and focus of the conference, please complete the application; the deadline to apply is Friday, December 20, 2024 at 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time (EST).
USPATH members that meet the following requirements are eligible to apply for the Committee:
- Member of USPATH for one year (Paid Dues in 2024 and 2025)
- Expertise in one of the following focus areas:
- Clinical Care - Child & Adolescent
- Clinical Care - Adult
- Health Profession Education/Training
- Mental Health - Child & Adolescent
- Mental Health - Adult
- Non-Surgical Body Modifications
- Research - Public Health / Social Sciences
- Surgery
The Steering Committee will have a limited number of members to ensure that work can be efficient and focused.
Participation in regular Committee meetings is essential; the Committee will meet monthly, but at least twice a month as we get closer to the Symposium.
In addition to our general call for Committee members, we are seeking applicants to serve as the Scientific Chair of the conference. The Chair will oversee all activities of the Committee and have a key leadership role in the development of and execution of the Conference. The Chair will work closely with the USPATH Board in their efforts. This is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in becoming more involved in USPATH leadership.
The deadline to apply is Friday, December 20, 2024 at 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Our Biennial Conference is a cornerstone USPATH activity and serves as an important forum for networking and connecting with other professionals in the field, disseminating cutting edge research and practice updates, and as a forum for community engagement. We can’t do this without you! We are hoping you will consider applying for this crucial and exciting role.
