What’s new in Endocrinology? Exploring the Body's Messenger System and Recent Updates to Promote Health for All
with Dr. Caroline Davidge-Pitts
Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 2:00pm

This plenary explores the endocrine system's complex role in human health, with a focus on gender-affirming care, where hormone therapy remains a crucial pillar. While guidelines provide a foundation for safe and effective practice, new research continually refines clinical approaches. Through a practical, clinician-oriented lens, this session highlights practice-changing international endocrine studies from the past two years. The plenary also investigates the interplay between hormones, social determinants of health, and stress, emphasizing how scientific knowledge fosters global unity in empowering and caring for people of all gender identities and expressions.
