Apply Today - USPATH Board Application for President-Elect, Member-at-Large, and Student Board Member Positions

Deadline: Sunday, July 23, 2023: 11:59pm Eastern Time.

 

Dear USPATH Members:

We hope this message finds you all safe and healthy, and we look forward to seeing all of you at the USPATH 2023 Scientific Symposium.

The time has come to announce our Call for Applications for the following positions on the USPATH Board of Directors:

• USPATH President-Elect (6 year commitment; 2-year term as President-Elect followed by a 2-year term as President, and finally a 2-year term as Immediate Past President)
• 4 Board Member-at-Large positions (3-year term)
• 1 Student Board Member position (2-year term)

 

President-Elect and Board Member-at-Large Criteria

Candidates for the President-Elect and Board Member-at-Large positions must be current Full Members of USPATH for 3 consecutive years (paid member dues in 2021, 2022, and for 2023) and reside in the United States.

Student Board Member Criteria

Candidates for the Student Board Member position must be current Student Members of USPATH for 1 year (paid member dues in 2022 and 2023, and who will retain their student status through their term, ending in Fall of 2025), and reside in the United States.

APPLY TODAY for the USPATH Board of Directors

 

The deadline for all applications is Sunday, July 23, 2023 at 11:59pm Eastern Time. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

After the deadline, applications will be reviewed by the USPATH Election Nominating Committee, an independent body elected by the membership, and then approved by the USPATH Board of Directors.  All applicants that meet the criteria stated will be placed on the ballot.

Voting for the Board Member-at-Large positions will occur with an online ballot to all current USPATH members (Full, Emeritus). Voting for the Student Board Member position will occur with an online ballot to all current USPATH Student Members.

Once ballots are sent, eligible members will have at least three weeks to review the candidates and vote.

• The newly-elected members will be notified and announced to the membership shortly after the ballots close.
• The newly-elected USPATH Student Board Member will take their seat on the board effective immediately, upon their acceptance;
• The newly-elected USPATH President-Elect and Board Members-at-Large will take their seat at the USPATH 2023 Scientific Symposium in Westminster, Colorado.
  • November 1-5, 2023; Board Meeting and Dinner; Sunday, November 5, after scientific sessions end.
