Dr. Leena Nahata | Dr. Leena Nahata is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She is a board-certified endocrinologist and founder and Medical Director of the Fertility and Reproductive Health Program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. As an NIH-funded Principal Investigator in the Center for Biobehavioral Health at the Abigail Wexner Research Institute, she is leading and collaborating on several clinical research studies focused on improving reproductive and psychosocial outcomes in pediatric populations at risk for infertility. She serves as the Chair of the Pediatric Initiative Network of the Oncofertility Consortium, and has contributed to fertility guidelines sponsored by several organizations including the American Academy of Pediatrics, Children’s Oncology Group, and PanCareLIFE. She is currently the Reproductive Health Chapter lead for the Standards of Care, Version 8, being published by World Professional Association for Transgender Health. |
Dr. Kenny A. Rodriguez Wallberg | Dr. Kenny A. Rodriguez Wallberg completed her medical education and her residency in obstetrics and gynecology in her home country, Colombia. As specialist, Dr Rodriguez-Wallberg was then awarded a fellowship from the Groupement Français de Gynécologie de l’Enfant et de l’Adolescence and completed her training in Pediatric Gynecology at Hôpital Necker Enfant Malades in Paris, as well as in Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility and Assisted Reproduction at Cochin-Baudelocque. In 2005 she earned her PhD degree at Uppsala University in Sweden and since 2007, she is a Senior Consultant in Reproductive Medicine at Karolinska Hospital in Stockholm and Head of the Program for Fertility Preservation. Dr Rodriguez-Wallberg is currently adjunct professor at the department of Oncology and Pathology at Karolinska Institutet and is sharing her clinical work with both clinical and translational research. |
