USPATH is thrilled and honored to announce that Andrea Jenkins, MFA, will present the Keynote Address opening the USPATH 2021 Scientific Symposium: Seeking Equity in a Time of Hope and Challenge.

Andrea Jenkins is a writer, performance artist, poet, and transgender activist. She is the first African American openly trans woman to be elected to office in the United States. Jenkins moved to Minnesota to attend the University of Minnesota in 1979. She worked as a Vocational Counselor for Hennepin County government, for a decade. Jenkins worked as a staff member on the Minneapolis City Council for 12 years before beginning work as curator of the Transgender Oral History Project at the University of Minnesota's Jean-Nickolaus Tretter Collection in Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Studies.

She holds a master’s degree in Community Development from Southern New Hampshire University, a MFA in Creative Writing from Hamline University and a Bachelor’s Degrees in Human Services from Metropolitan State University. She is a nationally and internationally recognized writer and artist, a 2011 Bush Fellow to advance the work of transgender inclusion, and the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships. In 2018 she completed the Senior Executives in State and Local Government at Harvard University.

For the first-time ever, USPATH is providing the opportunity to submit late breaking abstracts for Oral and Poster sessions to be considered for presentation at the USPATH 2021 Scientific Symposium presented VIRTUALLY November 3 – 7, 2021.

The United States Professional Association for Transgender Health (USPATH) understands that important scientific work continues every day of the year. If you have new and exciting data to share, please consider submitting your late breaking abstract!

This is your opportunity to submit new, LATE BREAKING scientific abstracts for USPATH 2021.

USPATH 2021 Scientific Symposium Main Program
November 4 - 7, 2021

All recorded sessions will be available for 30 days with an option to increase to 300 days in your registration, this add-on will allow you to watch as many sessions as you wish, at your own pace, and receive accreditation for those sessions.

Conference programming will include: Abstract Presentations; Mini Symposia; Research Posters; Plenary Sessions; Networking Opportunities; and so much more!

USPATH is pleased to announce the USPATH 2021 Surgeon’s Day Program, which will take place on November 3, 2021. This program is specifically geared for the Surgeon and Surgical Team Members, this year’s program will be chaired by Dr. Daniel Dugi.
