Application for Task Force to Create a Community Advisory Board
This is a call for applications for a 3-member Task Force to aid USPATH in creating a Community Advisory Board (CAB). This Task Force will be comprised of 3 USPATH members who will, in collaboration with the Board of Directors, develop a framework for the creation of a USPATH CAB. Please apply by Wednesday, September 9, 2020.
This is NOT a call for applications for membership on the CAB.
After the 3-member Task Force is assembled, its members will work with the USPATH Board to create the CAB rules and responsibilities. The USPATH Board seeks to conduct these activities in principles of equity, inclusion, justice, and anti-racism.
Applicants should:
* Have prior experience in organizational leadership
* Have experience with community engagement and participation
* Be committed to consensus building and collaboration
* Be available for a time commitment including monthly phone calls plus an additional 4 hours/month
* Be a member of USPATH
* Share a vision of equity, inclusion, justice, and anti-racism.
People of color, people with disabilities, those of economically disadvantaged backgrounds, and members of under-represented groups in the health and medical fields are strongly encouraged to apply.
