Call for Member-at-Large Nominations - WPATH Board of Directors
WPATH BOARD OF DIRECTORS
CALL FOR MEMBER-AT-LARGE NOMINATIONS
Nominations are now open for the Member-at-Large positions on the WPATH Board of Directors, there are several positions available. There are three (3) open positions for a 4-year term and two (2) open positions for a 2-year term, for a total of five (5) new positions to be filled.
The term of elected members will be determined by greatest number of votes received per candidate, with the 4-year-terms selected first. There are 3 full, four-year term positions open which will be filled by the top 3 candidates by number of votes received. We expect there to be additional 2 two-year terms to complete the terms of positions possibly being vacated. These positions will be awarded to the candidates receiving the next highest numbers of votes.
Elected members will be informed of their term once the election results are tallied.

To nominate a candidate, you may submit their name, email address, and country of residence to the WPATH office at wpath@PROTECTED, staff, on behalf of the Nominating Committee will inform them that they have been nominated. Nominees are free to decline or apply for a member-at-large position.
Self-nominations are accepted; simply fill out and submit the Application form.

Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 11:00pm Eastern Time.
Please note that a nomination or a submitted application does not ensure a place on the ballot. The Nominating Committee will vet all applications and ensure that final candidates meet all requirements as stated in the criteria.
In addition to new applications, qualified applicants not selected for the EC slate have been invited to apply for a Board Member-at-Large position.
Voting by the membership to approve the slate and select the Member-at-Large positions will take place in September-October.
Newly elected Board Officers and Members-at-Large will be installed at a meeting of the full board near or in conjunction with the 26th Scientific Symposium being held virtually from November 6 – 10, 2020.
