WPATH 2020 International Film Festival

The WPATH 2020 Steering Committee is pleased to host the first-ever WPATH International Film Festival during the 26th Scientific Symposium; November 6 - 10, 2020. We are accepting submissions until Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 11:00pm Eastern Time.

Invited Plenary Presenters

Dr. Liza Johannesson (MD, PhD) specializes in obstetrics and gynecology with a special interest in gynecologic oncology and transplantation. She graduated from the Nobel Prize awarding Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden.

Dr. Michael Marshall, MBBS, MRCPsych, CCT, PgDip (Mental Health Law), MBA (Ongoing), is a psychiatrist with a special interest in transgender health. He was the inaugural program director at the Gender Program at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Dr. Sanbonmatsu (PhD) is a principal investigator at Los Alamos National Laboratory. She received her BA in Physics from Columbia University and PhD in Astrophysical, Planetary and Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Colorado at Boulder, studying wave-particle interactions in the Earth’s auroral ionosphere.
