Dear WPATH Members:

On behalf of the WPATH Board of Directors, we want to thank all of the candidates who put their name forward to serve on the WPATH 2020 Election Nominating Committee.

We are excited to announce the 3 Members at Large that were elected by membership vote to be seated on the Nominating Committee. 

• Madeline Deutsch, MD, MPH
• Zil Goldstein, FNP-BC, MSN, AAHIVS
• Laura Jacobs, LCSW-R

The above WPATH Members will join the existing members of the Committee who are:

• Gail Knudson, MD, FRCP, MEd (Chair)
• Walter Bouman, MD, PhD
• Jamison Green, PhD
• Tone Maria Hansen, MSN

The three Members at Large will join the existing WPATH 2020 Election Nominating Committee members to complete the Committee. This Nominating Committee will have two main tasks:

1. Review the applications submitted for the Executive Committee (President-Elect, Secretary, and Treasurer) and present the proposed slate to the Board of Directors for final approval for the WPATH 2020 Election of Officers to be voted on by the full voting membership.
2. Review the applications submitted for the Member-at-Large Board positions to ensure that all criteria are met. All eligible candidates will be placed on the ballot for the WPATH 2020 General Election to be voted on by the full voting membership.
