WPATH Announces First-Ever Online GEI Foundations Course - Register Today!

We hope this email finds you and yours safe and healthy. Thank you for all you do and for being part of the frontline responders, and for your continued support of WPATH and the GEI programs.

After much anticipation, it is our pleasure to announce WPATH’s first-ever Online GEI Foundations Course. We are excited to be able to make this available to you now, as we all adjust to the need to offer distance learning opportunities during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

The WPATH Online GEI Foundations Course will include two components:

• Pre-Recorded Didactic Sessions, which you can stream at your convenience starting next week through June 30th.
• Live Streamed Case Presentation Panel Discussions, which you will pre-select and attend during the week of May 26th - 31st, 2020.

Registered attendees will receive an email with the link to view the pre-recorded didactic sessions, once your registration is complete. That email will also include the handouts for the sessions, faculty bios, pdf copy of the SOCv7, accreditation information, and any other details you will need. You will have until June 30th, 2020 (which may be extended if necessary) to watch all the recorded sessions at your own pace and schedule.

In addition, you will select a total of three (3) 2-hour Live Streamed Case Presentation/Panel Discussions during the week of May 26th-31st, 2020. The panels are an integral part of the Foundations Course and are a requirement to complete the curriculum and receive credit for attending the course.

WPATH plans to offer the Online GEI Foundations course at least once more in 2020, so if these program dates do not work with your schedule, be on the lookout for the next offering in a few months.
